About
A proud South Carolinian, Dani Gonzalez has called Anderson home for over 26 years. It’s where she met her husband, raised their five children, and built a life surrounded by the beauty of both the mountains and the coast. Anderson’s small-town charm with a big-town vibe — combined with its vibrant employment opportunities, Lake Hartwell’s 56,000 acres of waterfront, and its proximity to Charlotte and Atlanta — makes it the perfect place to live, work, and play. Known as a “hidden gem” of the Upstate, Anderson offers a lower cost of living compared to neighboring counties like Greenville, Pickens, and Oconee, attracting many who choose to commute the short drive to Greenville for work.
Dani and her family are passionate about giving back to their community, regularly volunteering at local soup kitchens and partnering with organizations like Habitat for Humanity.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Southern Wesleyan University, where she was inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda. Dani is also a member of the National Vocational Technical Honor Society for Engineering Graphics Technology. Her diverse professional background includes roles as an Inspector with Hughes Aircraft, Enumerator and Office Manager for the U.S. Government, Assessor for the Anderson County Tax Assessor’s Office, HR Manager, and Employment Specialist for Goodwill.
An entrepreneur at heart, Dani has owned and operated multiple businesses across Clemson, Belton, and Anderson. Her most recent ventures include managing a team of remote customer service agents and offering HR and consulting services to startup businesses. She has supported companies with external payroll services, contracts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), handbooks, website design, and tax filing. Dani also previously held a South Carolina Life Insurance license, managed rental properties, and has extensive personal experience with real estate transactions. She currently holds active South Carolina Notary and Real Estate licenses.
When she isn’t helping clients or volunteering, Dani enjoys traveling, camping, exploring the mountains, relaxing on the beach, reading, and writing poetry. At just 17 years old, Dani’s poem written to her mother earned an Honorable Mention in the National World of Poetry contest and was published in an anthology — an honor given to only ten entrants nationwide. Though she has kept much of her poetry private since then, she continues to write for close friends and family on occasion.
